What You'll be part of

In the Process team, we work with all the interesting technology that a backend developer wants to do. Our Kubernetes cluster in AWS receives all the logs from our customers and we scan every single log in order to detect anomalies. Therefore, we are always working with tuning the performance, scalability, and implementing new ways for our customers to make use of their log data. We do these things and at the same time, we keep the build green!

What You’ll do

• Implement new features driven by the priorities in the roadmap
• Implement and maintain the algorithms used in LM Logs
• Collaborate with a diverse, distributed development organization across US, Scandinavia, and India.
• Stay up to date with the latest data science trends and share industry knowledge with peers
• Participate in the project definition process with product, management, architecture, and development teams to support the evaluation of planned changes
• Follow up and keep track of models and algorithms used to maintain the highest quality of product
• Contribute with bug fixing and maintenance of existing software to maintain the highest quality of product
• Close contact with the tech-ops team and being part of the on-call rotation

What You'll Need

• Experience with data mining, machine learning, and Natural language processing
• Knowledge of statistical and numerical methods
• Experience with Python
• Experience working with Go
• Database knowledge
• Bachelors or above degree in computer science or mathematics
• Understanding of web application architectures.
• Experience working with AWS or other cloud technologies

Nice to Have

• Familiar with AWS services
• Knowledge of the Ragel State Machine Compiler
• Kafka knowledge
• Docker / Kubernetes
• Java Experience
• Familiar with Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, BitBucket)
