What You'll Do:

This role is designed to serve as a lead member of the growing accounting team in Pune India, engaged in performing highly specialised tasks / assignments in accounting, review payroll, tax and regulatory areas for India and global operations and work under the direct supervision of a Senior Manager Finance. This position will have the opportunity to make a companywide impact through finance.

Here's a closer look at this key role:
  • Ensuring the accurate maintenance of books of account in compliance with GAAP (Indian / other)
  • Present and discuss financial reports with detailed analysis and business commentary
  • Front end audits (internal / external)
  • Ensure compliances with applicable regulations and defendable positions are adopted
  • Accurate & timely review of payroll and benefits
  • Finance policies, processes and procedures are periodically reviewed and documented
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned are carried out in a timely and accurate manner
  • Lead a team of individuals - This would include undertaking timely performance appraisals, providing feedback, documenting development plans, mentoring and training the team members
  • Support India and Global operations.
What You'll Need:
  • Chartered Accountant with an experience of 4 – 5 years of accounting experience with IT/ITES MNCs plus payroll deep understanding is welcomed
  • Experience with NetSuite, Workday, or similar platforms and strong Excel knowledge
