What You'll be part of

The UX Designer within the LM Logs team will be part of a cross functional product team building a next generation Logging feature within the LogicMonitor product. This position is responsible for working with the cross functional team to perform daily execution of designing improvements or new features, collaboration within the team with frontend and backend devs and pms, doing user testing and delivery of the new use case storyboards, wireframes, and feature specifications. This person will foster the culture of the LogicMonitor team that embodies a dedication to collaboration, service mentality, designing novel products, delivering quickly, meeting commitments, personal excellence, and accountability.  

What You’ll do

• Be part of an agile product team that has Design, Dev and Product in the team, loosely connected to the global UX team to share practices and principles. 
• Daily execution of design for improvements, bug fixes or new features by brainstorming with the team, converting these designs into Sketch/InVision prototypes and facilitate test sessions with end users. 
• Create test scripts for, setup and execute regular (weekly) RITE user testing to identify and fix usability issues, convert insights into actionable design improvements and identify new strategic design/product opportunities.
• Contributing to and maintaining the Design System with the global UX team, pattern library and general understanding of our customers and the collection of user insights,
• Actively proposing and driving new initiatives aligned to business division goals.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's Degree required; Degree in HCI Design, User Experience Design, or Information Architecture preferred.
• 2+ years of experience designing SaaS applications
• Design portfolio with examples of enterprise applications
• Demonstrated expertise in facilitating brainstorming to generate novel design approaches
• Fast execution of coherent stories of user scenarios and hand-sketching of stories and wireframes on paper, white board, Sketch, InVision
