We are looking for a motivated AR Operations, Collections Specialist to join our Accounting team. In this role, you will be responsible for helping us build and improve our AR Operations processes. This role requires reviewing our accounts receivable aging, identifying delinquent accounts, contacting customers, requesting payment status, and following up as needed. Our goal is to offer a world class experience for our customers from order to cash.  This role is pertinent in making that happen!

Responsibilities:

  • Build strong internal and external customer relationships
  • Ensure invoices are uploaded to third party bill systems on time and accurately
  • Diagnose and resolve customer issues and initiate correcting transactions
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills while initiating outbound emails/calls and receiving inbound emails/calls to/from customers and business partners
  • Accurately document all collections and related activities, in detail, in collections database and supporting systems
  • Work with the team to achieve and maintain key A/R OKR’s, including DSO
  • Monitor the Accounts Receivable inbox to ensure timely response to all internal and customer inquiries
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations
  • Cross train with other team members to ensure 100% customer service
  • Ensure SOX compliance in areas of responsibility
  • Other duties as required

 Experience:

  • 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience required; 1+ years working on large, strategic accounts preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance 
  • Strong team player who emphasizes team success over individual success
  • Commitment to excellent customer service for both internal and external customers
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Goal oriented with strong communication, attention to detail, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Creative, self-disciplined and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency
  • Willingness to work in a paperless environment
  • Experience with Netsuite, Salesforce, G-Suite, and Oracle preferred
  • Oracle system implementation experience ideal
