Lyft is looking for a motivated Chief Accountant to join our team. This role will be critical in building a world class accounting organization to support our growth and expansion. Responsibilities:

  • Full accounting and tax accounting
  • Accounting & tax reporting to both corporate finance, HTP and other local bodies
  • Statutory financial statements preparation and filling
  • Payroll calculation, processing and reporting
  • Processing and control of payments to suppliers
  • Follow up and control of company's applicable policies and procedures
  • Accounting documents processing
  • Account reconciliations in accordance with close calendar timelines
  • Support of external audit, including preparation of audit requests and ongoing support
  • Assist in documentation/implementation of internal controls in areas of responsibility
  • Support management in completing special projects, ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests, and other tasks as assigned

Experience:

  • English knowledge (upper-intermediate, fluent speech and writing)
  • Degree in accounting/finance/economics
  • 2+ years of experience at chief accountant position (at HTP resident is an advantage)
  • Understanding of local accounting
  • Deep knowledge of main regulatory taxation documents and HTP specifics
  • Understanding and experience in applying US GAAP/IFRS concepts is an advantage
  • IT or international company experience is an advantage
  • ACCA/IFRS certificate, audit experience with BIG4 is an advantage
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills – experience in Microsoft and Google applications; Oracle, NetSuite and Coupa are strongly preferred
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills a must
  • Must be detail oriented, able to solve problems and multitask 
  • Ability to operate independently and as part of a larger functional team
