Lyft is looking for a motivated and organized Community Associate to join our team, Part-time. In this role, you will be the face of Lyft, meeting with applicants and current drivers at our local facilities and preparing them for the exciting road ahead. You will be responsible for supporting onboarding activities, providing a world-class experience and you will have the opportunity to drive our local operations activities through insightful feedback. This position will report into the Community Specialist. Responsibilities:

  • Guide drivers through the onboarding process 
  • Support applicants and drivers with your knowledge of Phoenix and the Lyft platform
  • Work with current drivers to solve any issues that they may have
  • Prepare new drivers for what to expect and how to be successful on the road
  • Uphold the Lyft standard of service while working with all drivers
  • Flexible schedule: this is a part-time role that will require some nights and weekends

Experience:

  • 1+ years with in-person customer service roles such as retail, technical support or hospitality
  • Impeccable customer service and problem-solving skills
  • High energy with an outgoing, social personality—you love talking to people!
  • Excellent, verbal and written communicationYou are all about THE TEAM, since we all know there is no “I” in TEAM
  • Typically involves standing for most of the workday (although Lyft will make accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities)
  • Ability to multi-task and switch into different modes during the workday/week
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
  • Proficiency with common technology tools like Slack, Zendesk, Google Sheets, Google Docs etc preferred
  • Bonus points if you love ride-sharing so much that you're not just a passenger but a driver too!
  • Bilingual proficiency a plus
