FP&A is an integral part of the decision making process at Lyft, embedded within the business to ensure we maximize ROI and drive to the best possible P&L outcomes. We are looking for a strong Financial Analyst to support our Express Drive team. You will be involved in all aspects of financial planning, strategic analysis, and decision-making support that will help drive the success of Lyft. The growth of this business unit, among our other Fleet initiatives, will make Lyft the key player in providing a fully integrated transportation network.

Responsibilities:

  • Own month and quarter-end close and review processes
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our financial processes and refine them to scale with the growth of the company
  • Assemble dynamic and comprehensive financial models that evaluate current and future business conditions using complex formulas and pivot tables
  • Extract and synthesize financial and operational data from multiple enterprise systems
  • Prepare executive-grade reporting, summarizing findings and recommendations
  • Support FP&A team with financial models and ad-hoc analysis as necessary
  • Opportunities to create processes from scratch and take on increasing business partnership relationships

 Experience:

  • BA/BS with 2+ years of experience in financial planning and analytics in a rigorous environment (high growth company experience preferred)
  • Self-starter capable of driving projects with high performance
  • Extremely detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A drive to understand the core issues and develop/implement solutions
  • SQL experience and CPA/public accounting background a plus
