Lyft is hiring a Financial Analyst for its Financial Planning and Analysis Team. This is a unique opportunity to play a crucial role in helping build a financial foundation for a rapidly growing post-IPO company. The candidate in this position will provide financial support to teams across Lyft. 

Responsibilities:

  • Own the Monthly & Quarter-end close process end-to-end for key spends, flagging any potential issues/risks through timely variance analysis
  • Directly support the Driver Onboarding team to provide world-class analysis, forecasting and reporting to stakeholders across the Rideshare organization
  • Build up existing processes and enhance existing controls to ensure compliance for Rideshare as a whole
  • Manage and organize financial data to enable our team to move fast supporting the business as a whole
  • Find the root cause and diagnose spend questions from leaders across the company
  • Prepare periodic financial business reviews, highlighting key areas of focus

Experience:

  • BA/BS with 2+ years of experience in FP&A at a high growth company or an analyst program at a big four accounting firm
  • Expert in Excel 
  • Excellent analytical & problem solving skills
  • Extremely detail oriented & highly organized
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills
  • A drive to understand the core issues along with determination to uncover the solution
  • SQL knowledge a plus
