Payment and Financial Operations are fundamental to Lyft, and this team is responsible for every dollar that moves through our internal systems, acquiring partners and our networks. The Payments and Financial team is charged with ensuring all money flows through our system reliably and accurately. We’re looking for a Financial Solutions Manager to optimize Lyft's financial systems, platforms and operations. Collaborating closely with product, engineering and finance teams, the Solutions Manager will enable solutions and processes to ensure end-to-end financial reconciliation. This person will evaluate current processes, systems and controls to identify enhancement features/capabilities, and minimize our total risk exposure. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage large-scale complex financial programs with internal and external partners
  • Lead financial solution definition and process design both with internal and external partners 
  • Enable launch of new businesses with appropriate end-to-end financial processes and reconciliation capabilities
  • Develop financial platform specifications for integration with third party payment providers 
  • Identify opportunities/issues/gaps, and proactively work with appropriate business, product and engineering teams to address these in a timely manner
  • Work with product and engineering to ensure new capabilities and ongoing upgrades are enabled for third party solutions
  • Manage expectations and resolve conflicts that balance internal and external requirements related to product, engineering, implementation, and operational areas

Experience:

  • B.S. in Business or related technical fields, MBA preferred
  • 4+ years of relevant financial services and/or financial systems management experience 
  • Ability to execute projects independently with minimal oversight
  • Strong communication skills; Clearly articulate complex technical solutions 
  • In-depth knowledge and demonstrated track record across a range of financial systems responsibilities including financial controls, SOX processes, etc.
  • Experience in enabling financial and/or reporting systems
  • Excellent cross-group collaboration skills, ability to impact and influence outcomes in a matrixed environment
  • Ability to prioritize competing projects among departments, history of effectively working with multiple teams to build new capability and implement projects
