Lyft is looking for a strategic partner to the business to help take Express Drive to the next level. In this role, you will assist in managing a fleet of vehicles while driving improvements to the current process by strengthening vendor relations and improving utilization.  If you have an entrepreneurial spirit, like tackling aggressive goals, and want to be part of the next big thing at Lyft, we would love to meet you!

Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in all things fleet management
  • Manage relationships with various partners including insurance agencies, collision centers, and internal/external partner teams 
  • Manage PO process with service providers and collision centers and complete cost analysis 
  • Manage and continually reduce vehicle out of service time across your market 
  • Own utilization by prioritizing getting vehicle rentals ready for Lyft Drivers
  • Present quantitative and qualitative findings to regional leadership to help drive high impact decisions
  • Build cross-functional, internal partnerships that support your unit of business
  • Manage a team of Community Associates, Fleet Coordinators, and/or Auto Detailers
  • Maintain preventative maintenance procedures

Experience:

  • 3-5+ years experience in Operations and Fleet Management
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills in order to work effectively with employees of all levels and external vendors
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the capability to process data to drive business strategies and decisions
  • Must have experience managing a team
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong track record of setting goals, creating a plan, and getting results
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to consult, influence, and manage clients.
  • Ability to drive efforts and projects through relationships and a broad knowledge base
  • Strong emphasis on data-driven decisions
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel
