As a Local Account Executive with Lyft Business, you’ll help local organizations understand the business-changing impacts of Lyft and its solutions. You’ll join a talented team focused on one thing: using technology and Lyft’s network of drivers to improve transportation for your client’s customers and employees. We’re looking for smart, ambitious individuals with deep field sales experience who want to transform the way people move around.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage a regional sales pipeline by developing trusted client relationships from initial contact to deal close within an assigned territory
  • Act as the regional expert in Lyft Business solutions and perfect sales strategies for verticals within an assigned territory
  • Establish long-term, collaborative relationships with Lyft Business customers and demonstrate Lyft value to client-focused initiatives
  • Achieve weekly, monthly and quarterly growth and sales quotas
  • Accurately forecast, track, and manage monthly revenue and opportunities in multiple systems and tools
  • Liaise with local stakeholders, including Operations, Marketing, and Compliance, to drive the effectiveness of sales campaigns and initiatives
  • Manage Local Acquisition Associate(s) on a day-to-day basis, including on-boarding, training, and up-leveling
  • Represent Lyft at marketing and tradeshow events
  • Travel up to 30% of the time, depending on territory, for remote meetings and visits to client locations
  • Reports directly to the Regional Manager, Local Acquisition

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of successful field sales experience in technology or managed services
  • Experience managing an end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, objection-handling, closing, and account management
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • High levels of sales persistence and work ethic
  • Demonstrated success in exceeding quotas
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • High energy with an outgoing, social personality
  • Impeccable customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Prior experience at technology, internet or SaaS startups a major plus
  • Prior experience selling into auto dealership groups or OEMs preferred
