The Customer Experience and Support operations organization is in need of a Manager, Cost & Contracts. This person will be responsible for providing data driven insights associated with the business' global spend, which includes but is not limited to, headcount, partner spend, refunds, coupons, promotions, technology and general expenses. The Customer Experience and Support Operations team is a driver of analytical insights and source of truth for all spend associated with improving our customers’ experience and impacts Cost Per Ride (CPR). You will contribute to efforts to project, procure, and monitor investments to provide and scale a world class customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate financial impact for new and existing opportunities
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting - analyzing financial results, distilling/synthesizing key trends, assessing current and future business risk, and communicating key messages to senior management
  • Manage and enhance pricing and predictive models to ensure long-term margin expansion
  • Lead quarterly planning cycles and maintain a rolling forecast to cost associated to Headcount, Refunds/Coupons, Technology, and other variable based spend associated to the global Customer Experience organization
  • Drives alignment across SCC, Finance and cross-functional teams around forecasting methodology and process and reporting tools
  • Analyze complex business problems and issues using data from multiple data sources to provide insight to decision-makers for the identification of strategic and tactical opportunities to reduce spend
  • Implement audit and financial controls for payment procedures
  • Provide supporting analysis for vendor renewals and new business partnerships
  • Manage and mentor Senior Analyst
  • Identify and take on ad-hoc projects including new opportunities; ability to wear multiple hats

Experience:

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, preferably in a technology company
  • 3+ years of management experience
  • Ability to simplify and package large amounts of complex information in order to identify key trends and opportunities for financial improvements
  • High level of comfort presenting analysis and information to various stakeholders including senior management and corporate finance
  • Proven interpersonal and team skills with the ability to effectively communicate, influence, and engage cross-functionally at all levels of the company
  • Google Sheets / MS Excel capabilities: master of vlookups, nested If statements, Index/Match, with ability to create repeatable templates to financial models.
  • Advanced SQL skills required
  • Advanced analytical skills required
  • Proven ability to navigate a fast-paced and ever changing environment
