We are looking for a Manager, Rideshare Planning and Operations to work with the growth team to analyze and improve existing processes, develop plans to streamline operations and decision making and to support and drive new business initiatives and support regional operations. This role will sit within the Rideshare Planning and Operations team, responsible for understanding the health of our markets and driving strategies for growth.

The Manager, Rideshare Planning & Operations will be involved in both strategy and execution, and  will be critical to the success of the Rideshare Planning and Operations team. We’re looking for a data & process-driven individual who has extraordinary attention to detail and a track record of analytical problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Rideshare Planning and Operations by serving as the owner of various initiatives that will inform decision making and deliver impact
  • Track, report and own market performance, needs and nuances, monitor market health, and identity/surface problems and propose responses 
  • Analyze data, conduct research, and synthesize feedback into operational plans, processes and playbooks
  • Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional partners to incorporate feedback into planning and strategy initiatives
  • Work cross-functionally with science, product, operations, and other teams to achieve lofty goals
  • Identify, develop, and inform strategic opportunities and challenges within regions that enable us to grow faster than the market and deliver on the company OKRs
  • Roll up your sleeves and get stuff done. No one can be counted on to execute faster or better than you
  • Identify opportunities and make them happen
  • Lead and develop a team of analysts 

Experience:

  • 7-9+ years of experience in a combination of strategy and operations roles (business operations, consulting, investment banking, or an equivalent field)
  • Very strong attention to detail, experience developing processes to remove human error
  • Quantitative analysis - Proficient in SQL, you can deep dive into data and draw meaningful insights, and partner effectively with data science teams to drive & develop deeper research
  • Ability to drive cross-functional decision-making and coordinated action
  • Outcome-driven approach to developing recommendations and demonstrated ability to develop a story and execution plan to support a strategic vision
  • 3+ years of people management experience 
  • Data analysis experience - able to dissect business issues, analyze large amounts of data, draw actionable conclusions and communicate effectively to stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for internal and external stakeholders
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter - you naturally take ownership, look for opportunities, and do whatever it takes to drive results
