The Support Operations Financial Analyst Intern will join an exciting team tasked with ensuring customer experience’s strategy aligns with Lyft’s overall financial goals.  You will contribute to efforts to project, procure, and monitor investments to provide and scale a world class customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Learn how to create predictive models to quantify, project, and reconcile daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual spend relative to budget, initiative, and outcome.
  • Help to maintain a rolling forecast to cost associated to Headcount, Refunds/Coupons, Technology, and other variable based spend associated to the global Customer Experience organization.
  • Collaborate on analysis of complex business problems and issues using data from multiple data sources to provide insight to decision-makers for the identification of strategic and tactical opportunities to reduce spend.
  • Assist in ROI analysis relative to technology and/or process optimization initiatives.

Experience:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, math  or other business related field with anticipated graduation in 2021
  • Must be returning to school after the internship
  • Ability to simplify and package large amounts of complex information in order to identify key trends and opportunities for financial improvements
  • Interpersonal and team skills with the ability to effectively communicate, influence, and engage peers
  • Intermediate to advanced Google Sheets / MS Excel capabilities; comfort with some or all of the following: vlookups, hlookups, nested If statements, Index/Match, sumifs
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and ever changing environment
