We’re looking for a hands-on Operations Manager who wants to continue the micromobility revolution by owning operations, planning and execution for Lyft’s bike and scooter program in Denver.
As the Operations Manager, you will develop and execute operations plans with a consistent eye towards service quality, operational excellence, and the overall customer experience. You will report to the General Manager and work together to shape the vision and implementation of the Denver program, as well as any new products Lyft may roll out in the Denver market. You will also contribute to success and learnings in other markets by developing operations playbooks, organizational capabilities, and advising with on-the-ground execution.

Responsibilities:
- Manage a large local operations team and monitor the program to ensure it is hitting performance targets, adhering to standard operating procedures, and implementing best management practices
- Design operating strategies to accommodate program growth, while also managing the day to day program needs
- Support the General Manager in maintaining relationships with our city partners, sustaining local partnerships, and addressing market-specific issues
- Plan the launch strategy for any new products the Lyft Transit, Bikes & Scooters team brings to the Denver market
- Synthesize market feedback and recommendations for HQ business, product, and engineering teams
- Build, maintain and monitor reports, dashboards, and metrics to evaluate the program’s operational health and financial performance
- Occasionally travel as needed to collaborate with other market leaders, learn best practices and share insights
Experience:
- 6-7 years of operations, strategy and management experience - ideally in a fast paced environment
- Impeccable organization skills and attention to detail
- Quantitative by nature and strongly focused on process improvement
- Comfortable performing analysis and presenting conclusions to senior leaders
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a get-it-done attitude
- Experience scaling an organization and managing people
- Experience managing and working with team-members possessing a wide variety of skills and roles
- Experience working cross-functionally across large organizations - including with product, engineering and marketing teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Role is based in Denver but some travel required on occasion
