We are looking for an Operations Manager to join the Mobile Service team, reporting to the Head of Operations Development. The Mobile Service team is scoped with building new services in the mobility space and has already launched Lyft’s Mobile Vehicle Services in the San Francisco and Philadelphia market. As the Operations Manager, you will focus on executing our market growth plans, with a constant eye on service quality and overall operational excellence. You will be responsible for developing the expansion model and working to integrate Mobile Service into Lyft’s brand new Vehicle Service Centers. 

We’re searching for an exceptional leader with experience managing remote teams, leading complex cross-functional initiatives, and possessing a strong desire to make a big impact at a fast-growing company. You are exceptional at end-to-end planning and execution, and have been known to break through complexity achieving simple, streamlined and scalable processes. You are highly skilled at prioritization, cross functional leadership, and possess strong analytical abilities. Responsibilities:

  • Lead Mobile Service teams in daily operations, ensuring quality, service and financial goals are achieved 
  • Strategize and execute mobile service in-market growth initiatives  (Travel up to 25% to be expected)
  • Oversee back-office operations unique to mobile operations, including scheduling and dispatching, customer and field support 
  • Manage Mobile Service team expansion into new markets by achieving simple, streamlined, and scalable processes
  • Support and lead development of new customer offerings and new types of services in the mobility space
  • Coordinate internal resources and vendors for a flawless execution of projects
  • Be a creative problem solver: managing issue escalations and provide support to teams balancing competing priorities
  • Establish cross-functional relationships and communicate at all levels of the organization to develop long-term strategies and hit OKRs

Experience: 

  • 4+ years of relevant work experience 
  • Experience building and managing high-performance teams
  • Exceptional track record of delivering on complex, high visibility cross-functional projects in a hyper-growth environment
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, and an ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Expertise manipulating and analyzing data and building models in Excel, and using data to make sound business decisions; knowledge of SQL a plus
  • Experienced in Lean Management principles and process centered environments
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence and motivate people at all levels across a broad variety of job functions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in building and scaling teams and programs a plus
