Lyft is looking for an Optimization Specialist to join the Driver Enablement Team in our Nashville Corporate Office. As Lyft strives to grow and improve our driver pool, we are looking for someone who can refine the application experience and retain the best drivers. The Optimization Specialist will be data-savvy and process-driven, creating resources to help our team move high quality driver applicants through the funnel. The ideal candidate takes initiative, over-communicates, and works with the team to make it happen.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and map processes and workflows
  • Manage work distribution 
  • Find trends and recognize issues
  • Be a team leader for investigation and resolution of incidents
  • Use data-driven decision-making to optimize workflows
  • Lead process improvements to move the best applicants through the funnel and activate high quality drivers
  • Perform deep-dives to understand applicant and driver behavior

Experience:

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, subject to change and uncertainty
  • Aligned with Lyft’s core values
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Experience creating process flow charts
  • Advanced experience with Google Sheets
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • Self-motivated and ready to go at a moments notice
  • A great listener who is outstanding with documentation
  • Proven ability to operate in grey areas; adaptable and agile
  • Strong track record of setting goals, making a plan, and getting results
