At Lyft, our mission is to improve people’s lives with the world’s best transportation. To do this, we start with our own community by creating an open, inclusive, and diverse organization.

Lyft’s mission has been to improve people’s lives with the world’s best transportation. And self-driving cars are critical to that mission: they can make our streets safer, cities greener, and traffic a thing of the past. That’s why we started Level 5, our self-driving division, where we’re building a self-driving system to operate on the Lyft network.

Level 5 is looking for problem solvers to join us to develop the leading self-driving system for ridesharing. Our team members come from diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise, and each has the opportunity to have meaningful improvement in the future of our technology.

Interns work side-by-side with top engineers in the industry while having autonomy from the get-go. They contribute to user-facing products and can see their work go live quickly. Lyft fosters a collaborative environment in the office, so there's always a sharp mind eager to hear about your next idea. As an intern on the Level 5 team, you will have the opportunity to develop and deploy tomorrow’s hardware & software solutions and thereby revolutionize transportation. We are currently looking for interns on our Autonomy team.
