Our in-house vehicle service centers, where drivers will get high quality, affordable maintenance and repair with lightning speed will build quickly.

As a Process Engineering intern, you will play an essential part in producing repair processes to grow Service Centers in Lyft’s Driver Operations organization on the Technical Operations team. 

Responsibilities:

  • Produce procedures and processes for Lyft Service Centers in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
  • Engage with other departments and outside organizations to contribute to process development and enhancement 
  • Participate in data entry tasks
  • Prepare and issue technical documentation to Lyft Service Centers
  • Maintains Customer Satisfaction Index at or above company standards
  • Observes all federal, state, local and company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties

Experience:

  • Familiarity with lean tools and processes such as Gemba, A3s, Root Cause Analysis, and Stakeholder Interviews
  • Technical automotive knowledge
  • Developing and validating processes
  • Collaborating cross-functionally
  • Qualitative and quantitative data analysis
  • Project management
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Process Engineering
