We are looking for a Revenue Management Analyst to join our Lyft Rentals team. Lyft Rentals recently launched as a beta program in two cities and is looking to rapidly expand.

You will be responsible for pricing and yield management to fuel top-line growth. You will manage day to day pricing and optimizing revenue on peak days across all of our products and markets. You will help create revenue management processes to quickly scale. You are data driven and detail oriented, but comfortable with ambiguity in a fast paced environment. You have a proven track record of building models, delivering analysis, and guiding business strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day to day pricing of different vehicle classes and markets in an early stage system, including optimizing peak day revenue
  • Design pricing strategies based on internal learnings, competitive data sets and industry seasonality
  • Build reports, forecast, and report weekly performance to the team
  • Provide recommendations on ways to improve fleet utilization
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with data science, marketing, and product teams to design and test promotional pricing and learn about price elasticity
  • Build and improve upon pricing system
  • Deliver ad hoc analysis and insights into actionable recommendations. Present findings to guide decision making and business strategies

Experience:

  • BA/BS degree strongly preferred
  • 3+ years experience in revenue management, pricing, consulting, investment banking, or analytics experience
  • Excellent analytical and modeling skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfort in fast growth, ambiguous environments
  • Cross functional collaborative style, low-ego
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and ownership
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to tackle complex issues and present clear recommendations
  • Advanced Google Sheets or Excel skills
  • Experience with SQL is a plus
