As our business and operations teams have grown, Lyft is looking for a strategic, dynamic, and data-driven talent acquisition leader to build the future of our Marketing, Legal, Public Policy, and Supply Chain teams. You’ll be tasked with partnering with key leaders across our central functions and leading a team of Recruiters and Recruiting Managers to develop, drive, and execute scalable hiring solutions. Responsibilities:

  • Develop direct reports and ensure team members are performing optimally through guidance on career growth, performance reviews and continuous rigorous feedback while providing mentorship and guidance to the broader recruiting team
  • Track metrics and pipeline activity for the team and manage reporting on hiring progress out to executives and cross-functional partners
  • Foster a strong team culture of ownership and accountability through weekly 1:1’s and team meetings
  • Innovate ways to build a strong and diverse talent pipeline, recruiting from a variety of creative sources
  • Work directly with recruiting and business leaders to deeply understand the requirements for all hires and their impact on the company and product as a whole
  • Work cross-functionally with legal, HR, total rewards, immigration, and other partner teams to drive results for your clients.

Experience:

  • 7+ years’ experience of proven success in building strong partnerships at the leadership level in a recruiting organization
  • Experience managing local and remote employees (including managers and individual contributors)
  • Demonstrated track record in leveraging data and metrics to build pipeline plans, channel strategies, and diversity targets to influence hiring outcomes
  • Experience building inclusive and diverse teams for recruiting and for the business
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence to be in front of internal and external leaders
  • Ability to prioritize workload and adapt to last-minute changes
  • Ability to maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor with reports, hiring managers and all members at Lyft
