The Premium Modes team mission is to provide an elevated transportation experience for riders on the Lyft Platform. Our team is heavily cross functional as we sit at the intersection between Product, Marketing, Ops and Driver Support. We focus on getting Luxury Car Drivers on our platform as well as driving adoption and frequent use by passengers on our platform.

As a leader on this team, you’ll set the strategy that drives decisions across Operations, Product, Marketing, and Finance. You’ll be expected lead the analytical strategic thinking and operational execution behind what motivates drivers and riders to get on the road and identify how our agent team should communicate.  If you’re motivated by determining what matters most and executing on those insights, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing team of 6+ high performers
  • Co-ownership if the Premium Products P&L
  • Deeply understand the how premium products work and identify primary opportunities for improvement 
  • Design execution strategy and investment case (if any) for opportunity areas, including how to get new users, how to build strategic relationships with fleets, and what causes friction for our population.
  • Present quantitative and qualitative findings to senior leadership to drive high impact decisions
  • Manage a cross-functional project team to ensure user experience improves 
  • Lead operational relationships with external partners and service providers

Experience:

  • 7+ years experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or equivalent
  • Experience leading teams
  • BA in Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering; MBA preferred
  • Basic proficiency in SQL or a desire to learn
  • Ability to independently break down large datasets and synthesize inputs from multiple sources
  • Ruthless prioritization skills across multiple projects and functional areas.
  • Craft compelling story and concisely present recommendations across teams and levels
  • Strong influence and negotiation skills to function in a matrixed environment 
  • Excellent organization, planning skills, and attention to detail
  • Balance between intellectual curiosity and the desire to roll up your sleeves and execute
