Responsibilities:

• Brief daily meeting to sync with small cross-functional team (scrum)
• Go off and crank on your project, checking in with other team members throughout the day with questions and updates
• You leave the code in a better state than when you found it (progressive refactor)
• You value reliability, ensured by automated testing (unit, integration and load tests)
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge
• Continuous integration and deployment
• Go home knowing that your work today is meaningfully improving the lives of every Lyft driver and every Lyft passenger

Experience:

• Currently pursuing B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
• Requirement to return to coursework for a minimum of one term following internship completion
• Experience with object-oriented programming 
• Ability to thrive in a startup environment
• Passion for sustainability and/or transportation
• Fluent in English (required)

 Responsabilidades: 

• Reuniones breves diarias con el pequeño equipo multifuncional (scrum)
• Pon en marcha tu proyecto, revisa en el día con otros miembros del equipo  preguntas o actualizaciones.
• Dejas mejor el código que como lo encontraste al inicio (refactorización progresiva) .
• Evalúas la fiabilidad, garantizada por las pruebas automatizadas (pruebas unitarias, de integración y de carga)
• Participas en revisiones de código para garantizar la calidad del código y distribuyes el conocimiento
• Integraciones e implementaciones continuas
• Regresas a casa sabiendo que tu trabajo hoy está mejorando significativamente las vidas de todos los conductores y pasajeros de Lyft

Experiencia: 

• Actualmente cursando B.S. (Licenciatura)  o M.S. (Maestría) en Ciencias de la Computación o equivalente
• Se requiere regresar a los cursos por lo menos un período después del término de la pasantía
• Experiencia con programación orientada a objetos
• Habilidad para prosperar en un entorno rápido 
• Pasión por la sustenibilidad y/o el transporte
