Marcus & Millichap, the nation’s leading commercial real estate investment sales company, is seeking a bright, career minded, enthusiastic Administrative Assistant/Transaction Coordinator for a top producing team based in the Bethesda, Maryland office. The individual will be responsible for providing value-add administrative support as well as some marketing assistance. The ideal candidate should have an interest in a fast-paced environment with a willingness to work hard, and multi-task.
 
Nature & Scope
 
The Candidate will be responsible for managing workflows for three agents, working in concert with the team’s financial analyst and main office staff. Tasks include updated team record documents, processing listing paperwork, researching, creating brochures and proposals, updating websites, reporting issuance and processing expense reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Proof reading documents
  • Property research
  • Ability to update website/website maintenance is optional
  • Oversee timelines for listings and marketing
  • Edit property photos using Adobe Photoshop
  • Organize and track all marketing efforts
  • Assist with multiple administrative duties including processing brokerage requests and expense reports
  • Manage and update contact database
  • Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of administrative experience preferred
  • Self-motivated/self-starter – able to perform with little direction and desire to learn
  • Commercial real estate experience preferable
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Must be technologically/computer savvy
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Significant knowledge of Adobe CC suite (Acrobat PDF editor)
  • Excellent grammar, spelling, writing/editing a must
  • Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and meet critical deadlines
