Job Summary

The Sales Support Specialist provides sales, inventory control, and operational support to the Inventory & Wholesale Teams. This includes handling all facets of customer service, delivery scheduling, order entry and fulfillment. Ensures that data is properly entered and maintained in ERP & Metrc to comply with all state regulations. Enters and audits data in company software to ensure compliance with company procedures.  

Job Functions

  • Manage CRM software (Leaflink) updating SKUs, product menu details, and pricing.
  • Create daily, weekly & monthly delivery schedules for 60+ customers, organizing bookings, coordinating vehicle use, and driver assignments.
  • Communicate with the sales department, fulfillment team, and delivery driver(s) to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Receive order forms & create compliant Sales Order/Transportation Manifests via Seed-To-Sale software MJ Platform.
  • Work with AP/AR to analyze & track sales credits for wholesale division.
  • Manage sales tracking tools and upload documents into internal systems.
  • Provide troubleshooting assistance for customer orders, account statuses and relevant problems.
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to wholesale orders.
  • Review pending orders and specific customer requests to ensure excellent customer service and optimal customer experience.
  • Assists with the recording and verification of wholesale payments.
  • Maintain Safe Drop Log, ledger and create cash deposit records.
  • Assists in a wide variety of administrative and support functions including data entry, filing, copying, scanning, research, database maintenance, etc.
  • Review and confirm accuracy of all batch records and batch testing results.
  • Collect and submit finished product samples to the 3rd party lab for testing.
  • May assist with training of employees in the department and other departments within the facility.
  • Performs scheduled state audits, inventory reconciliations and assists with maintaining compliance records.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • 1-2 years of experience in field, Sales Support
  • High School diploma or General Education Diploma is required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, and Clerical Skills
  • Database Management Skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication Skills
  • Acute attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cannabis Industry Experience
  • Experience with MJ Platform, Leaflink, and METRC is a plus
  • HACCP Certification a plus
  • Customer Service Experience

Additional Qualifications

Computer literacy: In addition to data entry and typing, Sales Support Specialists need to have knowledge of basic spreadsheet and word processing creation software.

Time management and organization: These professionals use a variety of organization methods, including calendar management, to handle multiple projects at one time and completing tasks efficiently and quickly.

Customer service: Sales Support Specialists should have strong professional conversation etiquette, especially in person and over the phone when interacting with company representatives, clients and customers.

Communication: Clear communication and the ability to explain concepts in simple terms are used to help the customer work through problems and accurately describe products.

Problem-solving: Sales Support professionals should be able to use critical and creative thinking to identify and resolve issues with products and orders.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Working Conditions

This job operates in a professional facility environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. A large portion of time will be spent sitting or standing in an office environment.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
