The Human Resource Coordinator supports the daily functions of the People Operations Department
facilitating the efficient flow of communication and processes. The person in this role assists
in maintaining HR compliance in assigned areas and complete administrative duties in a timely and
accurate manner. Applying a welcoming and helpful approach to enhance the employee and
independent contractor experience is an essential part of this role.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Performs customer service functions by promptly responding to requests and questions via email, electronic ticket queue and other systems
  • Processes and follows-up on requests such as onboarding, off-boarding, employee,
  • independent contractor information, and other items
  • Assists with accurate record keeping, tracking and auditing
  • Helps to administer health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations
  • Supports team with payroll, benefits, employee relations, recruiting and other HR programs
  • Provides support with performance processes including, corrective actions, people development, career pathing and terminations
  • Assists with trainings, orientations, and presentations
  • Completes other related duties as assigned
  • Provides coverage on weekends and holidays
  • Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures
  • Demonstrates empathy in sensitive situations
  • Exercises discretion especially as it relates to issues of confidentiality
  • Proficient with on-line communications tools and ATS
  • Ability to think critically, provide solutions and problem solve
  • Able to adapt to changes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to perform tasks remotely

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, PowerPoint or related software
  • Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or CIPD 3 OR working towards CIPD 3
  • At least two years relatable experience required
  • This is Derry, Northern Ireland position!
    Candidates from Northern Ireland outside of Derry area will be considered as well.
