Shift Timings: 06:30 PM-02:30AM

Responsibilities

  • Involved in month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities including preparing journal entries, payroll journal entries, account reconciliations, roll-forward schedules and variance analysis
  • Responsible for general ledger accounts, including cash, fixed assets, accruals, pre-paid expense amortization, lease accounting, stock option accounting and intercompany transactions
  • Collaborate and work closely with auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits, prepare supporting schedules, footnotes and audit requests
  • Assist in issuance of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements
  • Assist in the design and implement internal controls and process documentation
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvements and strengthening internal controls, drive implementation of recommendations
  • Adherence to GAAP with respect to all accounting interpretations and applications
  • Work cross functionally, and interact with all levels of management
  • Assist with other projects as new projects present themselves

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in a General Ledger or Audit role
  • Strong knowledge of GL, US GAAP, internal controls, and accounting processes and procedures
  • NetSuite experience is a plus
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Must be a positive, energetic team player
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced Excel skills is a plus
