The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the continued growth and management of our social media channels by creating compelling content for significant reach. You will partner with our team to assist with design, writing, and curation.  
 
Our ideal candidate is resourceful and innovative with a desire to grow within the role and make it their own. Nortal is looking for someone with high-quality written communication that can be shared on our internal and external channels. You should have the ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic and global setting with constantly shifting priorities and goals. To be successful, you will need to be a strong communicator, great at meeting multiple deadlines, and comfortable with design editing tools. 
 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Run day-to-day activities on social networking sites (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Meetup). 
  • Develop and maintain a social media content calendar aligned with Marketing, Partnership, and Sales Management goals, including planning, drafting, editing, and execution. 
  • Create and maintain social media and newsletter monthly metrics reports. 
  • Create short-form web copy and make edits as needed. 
  • Create design deliverables such as social media graphics, slide decks, and company branded materials. 
  • Sales team support including slide deck design and editing. 
  • Execute Learning Thursdays learning series. This includes creating a content calendar and series coordination. 
  • Project-based needs requested from Talent Acquisition and People Operations for employer branding initiatives, globally and locally. 
  • Partner with the internal events team to execute employee engagement events. 
  • Complete ad-hoc projects, reporting, and tasks, as assigned. 
  • Qualifications Required

  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience. 
  • BA/ BS in Business, Marketing, Communications, English, or other relevant field of study required. 
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Moderate understanding of social media best practices with a desire for continued education. 
  • Basic Adobe Illustrator, Canva, and Photoshop experience. 
  • Interest in marketing’s role in sales-enablement. 
  • Highly motivated with the ability to learn quickly. Resourceful and able to prioritize and complete action items with minimal manager oversight in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, analytical, a problem-solver and have excellent follow-up skills. 
  • Authorized to work without visa/sponsorship. 
  • Qualifications Preferred

  • Basic marketing automation platform experience (Pardot, Marketo, etc.). 
  • Familiarity or interest in technology. 
  • Strong preference for this position to be in Washington, Oregon, British Columbia or Alberta.
