We are looking for a Financial Controller to join our Finance team.
The Financial Controller will undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, development of internal control policies and procedures, oversight of the US Accounting and Finance Team, and coordination of external audits
Role and Responsibilities:
Manage all accounting operations including invoicing, A/R, A/P, GL, payroll, cost accounting, fixed assets accounting and revenue recognitionApprove regular bi-weekly payrolls and other out of cycle payrollsOversee monthly/quarterly/annual budgeting and financial forecasting Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reportsApprove the release of bank paymentsSupport month-end and year-end close process, prepare and publish timely monthly and annual financial statementsManage accounting/finance team members, including hiring, training and support as needed Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reportingWork with outside counsel and resident agent to incorporate entities in various US States and manage annual filings Analyze cash flow, cost controls, and expenses to guide business leaders and pinpoint potential weak areasOversee the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and information reports for the annual audit and tax processMaintain and manage all corporate insurance programs Lead all external audits, including, but not limited to the annual financial and 401(k) auditsResearch technical accounting issues for compliance, manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filingsEnsure quality control over financial transactions and financial reportingDevelop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controlsProvides support for business executives, senior leadership, finance team and other support functionsWorks together with the Group‘s finance team in consolidation, management reporting and accounting policy development processesCommunication with bank for daily activity Additional controller duties and special projects as necessaryParticipate in 401(k) retirement plan fiduciary oversightKnowledge Skills and Abilities:
Broad financial planning, accounting and company/department budgeting experience with examples of innovative thinking and application to achieve organizational goals and objectivesOutstanding business acumen and critical thinkingAble to consolidate, analyze and communicate financial reports to executive leadershipCollaborative team leader with a strong drive to create a positive and inspiring work environmentCreating financial statements in line to IFRS requirements, but in case no such experience—willingness to learnRequired Qualifications and Experience:
