Position Description: Okta is looking for a Director of Partner Enablement to lead our Partner Enablement team and own the enablement strategy that will help drive partner influenced, sourced and led sales on a global scale. You will be responsible for developing and driving programs that will drive long term, strategic growth for our global partner ecosystem. 

The ideal candidate is a leader with a demonstrated track record of leading an organization’s Partner Enablement program. Because you understand what partners need to grow and have experience building and scaling programs, you will drive the team to continually improve and expand upon the programs in place today.

The Director of Partner Enablement at Okta will need to work collaboratively across multiple teams globally to ensure we equip are partners with the right enablement to make them successful and drive revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute partner training and enablement solutions to support channel programs 
  • Ensure partner audiences are equipped with content, resources, tools, and training needed to confidently and competently to increase partner sourced and partner led sales cycles
  • Identify and act on opportunities to improve the partner learning experience and identify innovative techniques for enablement and training delivery
  • Build strong partnerships with various stakeholders (Enablement, Product Marketing, Alliances Sales and Presales, etc) to define needs and deliver appropriate enablement for our partners
  • Execute on program vision and determine appropriate measurements

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience leading and developing a partner enablement team 
  • 3+ years building and implementing successful learning and accreditation programs for partners
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders globally with ability to develop and manage relationships at all levels without direct authority
  • Exceptional organization and communication skills
  • Execution oriented with the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives, achieve stakeholder buy-in and drive decisions
  • Proven ability to work independently with a “make it happen” attitude; able to operate and execute in areas of uncertainty and ambiguity; problem solver and quick learner
