Okta is looking for an experienced senior level Software Engineer in Test. This role will partner with the Analytics team and is instrumental in continuing to enhance our data analytics pipeline. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze/Refine requirements with Development and Engineering leads
- Develop test plans and automation for high-performance, scalable software components and APIs
- Partner with engineering management to scope and plan test efforts
- Participate effectively in a scrum team environment
- Manage deliverables working under minimal supervision
Minimum REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 6+ years of test automation development experience in Java
- Excellent grasp of software engineering principles
- Experience with UI and API automation testing
- Experience with some of the following is a plus:
- Elasticsearch, Docker, ECS / Kubernetes
- JMeter
- Consumer Driven Contracts (CDC), Pact
- SQL queries
Education and Training:
- B.S. or M.S. Computer Science or related field
