Our user base has doubled in the last year alone, and we have paid over $1 billion directly to creators on our platform. In order to support this level of growth, Patreon is looking for a Senior Manager of Demand Generation to lead a team and optimize integrated campaigns that attract new creators to the platform and tie marketing initiative to measurable impact. 
 
What you’ll do
The successful candidate will serve as the campaign quarterback. They assemble and automate cross-functional inputs, inject the content into offline and online channels, measure the results, then optimize spend and effort accordingly.
  • Define and string together the touchpoint journey before, during and after key in-person and online events
  • Assume ownership and optimization of marketing-qualified lead volume and movement through the funnel from awareness to purchase to loyalty
  • Evaluate campaign effectiveness according to results from Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Autopilot, Salesforce and additional third-party vendors and engagement data from our technical teams
  • Integrate touch-points from third party content syndicators and creator-focused websites into campaign reporting and optimization efforts
  • Own the execution and optimization of paid digital spend, monitoring and tweaking according to the offers and messages that resonate most with our target audience
  • Partner closely with our product marketing and content marketing leads to pull the content they produce into the right marketing channels
  • Adhere closely to a marketing campaign calendar, prioritizing and completing at a reliable cadence the promotion work most essential to our business strengths and goals 
  • Work with external website, graphic and writing vendors to scale our promotion efforts and process ongoing updates to our web properties
  • Collaborate with content and social media leads to integrate our social media touchpoints into broader marketing program journeys
  • Tie each marketing initiative to its place and key performance indicator in the marketing funnel in a consistent and clear presentation for exec stakeholders

About you

  • 8 years experience in marketing, digital promotion, events or related fields
  • MBA a plus (but we also love brilliant people who didn't go to business school)
  • Ideally knowledge of, or experience in marketing technology subscription platforms
  • Experience interacting with Executives and Sales Leadership
  • An analytical mindset, coupled with a healthy love of spreadsheets
  • Experience with Salesforce, Autopilot, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Adobe Creative Suite, email automation services and Contentful a plus
  • High energy and bias toward action -- with the execution skills to make it all count
