Job description:

Peloton’s APAC team is currently looking for a Director of Quality to lead the region's quality organization. This role will:

  • Deliver world-class quality products and maintain that quality throughout the duration of the manufacturing lifecycle.
  • Lead the analysis and improvement of quality operations in the region, including factory and supplier controls, incoming and out-going auditing, and the system and processes to maintain world-class assembly, which includes but is not limited to non-conformance, corrective action, statistical process control, and root cause activities. This role will work to eliminate risk and increase efficiency in preventing and resolving issues
  • Focuses on Quality management and key quality operation strategies execution by establishing long/short term regional targets aligned with the global quality objectives
  • Provide strong regional support to a matrix organization - collaborating with talent, identifying gaps, and rooting out inefficiencies

Role & responsibilities:

  • Assume responsibility for all APAC region quality and ensure all activities and methods align with achieving Peloton quality targets
  • Conduct review of current methods, procedures, and enforcement methods and establish prioritized roadmap (including necessary hires) and aggressive timeline to resolve deficiencies
  • Work closely with global Quality leadership to developing short/mid/and long term quality strategies
  • Provide guidance to Peloton’s regional leaders and critical suppliers, becoming the bridge between the regional Quality/Operations team and Peloton US.
  • Establish regular communication and KPI reporting with stakeholders regarding the effectiveness of the regional quality management and improvements being made
  • Assisting in the development and communication of proactive quality tools, strategies, objectives, and processes that support business and production strategies.
  • Evaluate Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action for timeliness and effectiveness.
  • Develop and manage a “data first” team by providing ongoing development, mentoring, and strong learning experiences that compliment both individual and corporate objectives.
  • Coaches and develops factory local management and quality managers in best practices, including the use of quality tools such as process audits, root cause countermeasure (RCCM), measurement systems analysis (MSA), and statistical process control (SPC) and quality management systems. (QMS).
Qualifications:
  • B.S degree in related field
  • Minimum 15+ year of Quality Management experience is required, regional management experience with strong factory/manufacturing background is preferred
  • Other soft skills required including good communication, people management and team building experience in Quality Management field
  • Candidate must be fluent in both English and Chinese
