Peloton is looking for a Director of Marketing Operations to spearhead the marketing planning process and drive greater operational rigor within our growing Global Marketing organization. This person will collaborate closely with leaders across Brand, Product Marketing, Creative, Comms, Media, Insights, International, Finance, and more, to align marketing investments to strategic priorities and allocate resources effectively. They will improve our ways of working, right-sized for our stage of growth, and support high-impact initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fitness, deep strategic planning and operational expertise, and a track record of working with global teams to implement processes that deliver outsized results. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Facilitate our Global Marketing team's yearly marketing planning and OKR/goal-setting. Work in partnership with senior leaders to define, size and prioritize our highest impact marketing initiatives. Maintain the global marketing calendar and OKR scorecard.
  • Drive the process for annual and half-year Global Marketing budget and headcount planning, working closely with FP&A and Marketing budget owners. Collaborate with Marketing teams to align investment strategy and global plan to business targets.
  • Lead quarterly reviews with our Marketing Leadership Team to ensure consistent prioritization against plans and optimization of the marketing operating calendar. Manage additions and changes to plans throughout the year that impact scope, timing, and resourcing of initiatives.
  • Proactively communicate across the organization to ensure transparency and alignment. Prepare materials for executive level business reviews.
  • Design an effective and efficient global / regional operating model as we launch new markets and grow the team in new regions. Partner with key stakeholders to build out a process to ensure global consistency and regional nuance in our creative, brand guidelines, reporting, new market entry, and marketing campaigns.
  • Work with teams to ensure the content of our Marketing Playbook is refreshed regularly. This includes go-to-market strategy, brief templates, and information key to optimizing marketing processes amidst a rapidly growing team.
  • Support Marketing team high-impact special projects that improve our ability to scale and execute more effectively as a team. Guide the development and optimization of processes to ensure resources are allocated effectively

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in marketing, business strategy consulting, or “bizops” functions in fast-growing global organizations
  • 4- year degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, Management, or related field, required. MBA or Masters level degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated success leading marketing and business planning processes with budget management experience to support marketing operations/execution. Experience delivering prioritization frameworks, headcount or budget investment models, a plus.
  • Highly-proactive, extremely organized, self-starter with exceptional executive-level stakeholder management experience
  • Proven ability to manage and lead teams toward common goals. Highly collaborative, a great listener, and able to work across regions with peers and leadership teams to drive action and results.
  • Enjoys creating new ways of working that scale, without being overly process-heavy
  •  Excellent communicator and producer of compelling and impactful presentations with experience presenting to senior leaders. Ability to distill detailed information to key takeaways.
  •  Advanced Excel/data analytics experience to analyze, summarize and present financial information and recommendations clearly.
  •  Familiarity with success metrics across marketing channels and stages of marketing funnel.
  •  Ability to operate at both a strategic and executional level; ideate and directly execute
  •  Positive outlook, curious, desire to learn and grow, and team player.
