Peloton is searching for a Director, Plant Quality to lead and drive the creation and rollout of Peloton Output Park (POP), a greenfield facility in Northwest Ohio. This person will lead the start up and implementation of a vertically integrated manufacturing facility. You will guide the strategic direction and initiatives at POP that ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulatory agencies, government regulations, and engineering specifications, while instilling accountability for governance of the Quality System, product acceptance and product quality. The Director, Plant Quality, will be the strategic leader for the team by establishing team direction, schedules, and key objectives, balance business needs, aggressive timelines, and functional goals in Quality Engineering. Develop and coordinate a team that recognizes quality and process improvements. This leader will cultivate a positive culture that aligns with Peloton’s core values. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as a role model in the areas of quality, safety, leadership, teamwork, customer focus, continuous improvement and environmental stewardship to ensure alignment with the company's vision and goals
  • Define quality control strategy and lead creative solutions through multiple and complex global projects to guarantee customer satisfaction
  • Implementing and leveraging WCM methodology, or equivalent Quality Systems
  • Act as the change management Leader within the Quality organization
  • Implement a world-class, customer focused strategy that enables the team to maintain competitive advantage
  • Applying creativity and problem-solving techniques to implement critical quality assurance strategies and processes
  • Actively participate in the Supplier Quality performance with a zero-defect expectation
  • Participate in the Annual Operation Plan (AOP) and Strategic Planning cycle 
  • Implement and lead defined quality improvement policies and procedures
  • Improve our quality performance of the supply base as measured by PPM and process capabilities
  • Provide area expertise and market intelligence to challenge and evaluate opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of work and academic experience
  • At least 7 years of experience in a people leader role
  • Extensive experience in quality and implementing Quality Management systems
  • Multisite, global leadership experience a plus
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed environment
  • Six Sigma or Lean Certification preferred
  • Manufacturing experience in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal/external
    customers
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to focus priorities to best impact quality metrics
  • Significant experience in leading technical teams
