THE ROLE:

Peloton is seeking a motivated Inventory Allocator within its Supply Chain team to help manage its inventory allocation and movements, reporting on and supporting our Last Mile operations. 

The mission of the Inventory Allocator is to ensure great availability at each Peloton site, ensuring future demand is met with suitable stock whilst balancing total capacity. All of which are fundamental to provide world class availability to service our members.

The Inventory Allocator will play a crucial role in supporting the day to day management of our Supply Chain. The role will provide an excellent opportunity to work with both internal and external stakeholders and will be vital to delivering an efficient supply chain operation. It will provide many opportunities to contribute, learn, and grow with Peloton.

The ideal candidate is analytical, focused on detail and accuracy and ability to manage multiple tasks switching between reactivity and proactivity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support allocations and proactively look for opportunities to ensure efficient and accurate allocations
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) by analysing available stock and coordinating Inbound Scheduling
  • Supporting Operations and 3PLs with availability queries and general communication
  • Generating and publishing KPIs and Reports and supporting with input data for other reports
  • Manage Transfer Orders by utilising strict data management/cleanliness
  • Working with Inventory Supervisors to ensure accurate inventory
  • Support the development and of all systems in respect of Inventory Allocation needs analysis

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in either of the following Supply Chain, Logistics, demand planning and/or Allocation
  • Proficient in Excel, comfortable with large data sets.  SQL a plus, but not required.
  • Knowledge of SAP a plus but not required
  • Comfortable with finding resolution through ambiguity
  • High levels of self-drive and desire to work in a fast-paced environment with a bias towards action
  • Keen to go deep into problems when necessary, but elevate to 80/20 solving
  • Effortlessly transition between working autonomously and collaboratively
