THE ROLE:

Peloton is looking for a hard-working, motivated Senior FP&A Analyst who will assist our FP&A team with COGS, focused specifically on freight & logistics for our Connected Fitness business. This person will work closely with our Supply Chain teams to provide direct reporting and analytical support and will also partner closely with our Accounting teams. The ideal candidate is driven and resourceful, proactive with strong prioritization skills, has the desire to dive into the data but also the ability to look at the big picture. Flexibility will be critical due to the evolving nature of working at a rapidly growing publicly traded company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build upon/improve existing financial models for budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning related to freight and logistics 
  • Support the monthly close process through close partnership with FP&A counterparts and the Accounting team
  • Partner with Operations and Supply Chain teams to track business performance against operating plans and prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-to-date variance analysis
  • Develops, tracks & reports on relevant KPI’s
  • Influence business decisions with effective verbal and written communication, data driven analysis & modeling and presentation of options & alternatives
  • Helps to identify potential risks & opportunities to the business
  • Assist in preparation of board of director materials
  • Review existing processes, structures, and systems to assist in the identification of improvement opportunities with a focus on simplification, standardization and optimization

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years in FP&A / corporate finance / supply chain management
  • Undergraduate degree in finance / economics / accounting / mathematics preferred
  • High aptitude and enthusiasm for complex problem solving utilizing financial modeling and analysis, including advanced Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Experience working with data visualization tools and data cubes is a plus
  • Excellent communication / collaboration skills, particularly the ability to explain complex concepts to non-financial audiences; role involves building strong relationships across the organization
  • Must be a proactive & highly organized self-starter, intellectually curious and able to work independently & under tight deadlines
  • Systems – no working knowledge needed; prior experience with financial planning tools (such as Host Analytics/Planful, SAP, etc.) is a plus
