As Penumbra continues to grow, members of the Facilities team play a critical role in maintaining a pleasant and safe working environment for all employees by overseeing building repairs and maintenance. We are seeking a Facilities Technician that has some knowledge within this realm. Penumbra is positioned in a sprawling 180000 sq.ft. facility.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 6am - 2:30pm

What You'll Work On

  • Maintain roof top equipment; perform preventative maintenance; troubleshoot issues
  • Install/relocate outlets, devices
  • Repair any walls, ceilings, tiles, flooring, doors, that are damaged in the day to day work environment
  • Fulfill employee requests for chairs, cabinets, whiteboards and keys
  • Repair or replace lighting fixtures and exit signs
  • Repair leaks from plumbing fixtures
  • Coordinate company participation in mandated recycling program 
  • Build or repair cubicles 
  • Interface with contractors and vendors
  • Some weekend and evening work may be required

  • A helpful, problem-solving demeanor to include Customer Service skills
  • Some experience in electrical and facility maintenance required
  • Ability to use standard powered and non-powered tools
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and be part of a team
  • Excellent organizational skills
