As a result, we are looking for an experienced and highly motivated MARKET DEVELOPMENT MANAGER UK, Ireland & Scandinavia.
As part of Penumbra’s Marketing team, you will support an innovative and global company that develops ground-breaking technology to further its mission of saving patients’ lives.
 
What you'll work on:
• Develop and implement business cases and strategies for market development at a
   country/regional level
• Identify and develop new market opportunities and support the growth of sales
• Work with sales and marketing management to develop strategic marketing initiatives at a
   country/region level for assigned product lines
• Refine and implement marketing plan for best fit market segments 
• Work with sales teams to develop and implement these initiatives, programs, materials
   and tools 
• Learn about market trends for assigned product lines
• Analyze the results, identify actions to be taken and adapts processes and strategies as
   neccesary 
• Identify, organize, and execute local/regional congresses, meetings, and medical education
   programs in support of marketing and sales plans 
• Partner with International and Global marketing teams to execute marketing plans and
   deliver messaging to local/regional sales teams and markets
• Plan and execute product launch activity at country/region level in alignment with
   International and/or Global marketing launch plans 
• Support reimbursement activity in assigned countries in partnership with International
   marketing and reimbursement teams 
• Keep informed of new products and communicate accordingly and provide input to the
   International and Global marketing teams
• Identify, develop and maintain a professional relationship with key opinion leaders, best
   prospects in targeted segments for the range of products and markets under responsibility
   and partner with International and/or Global marketing to share key opinion leaders for
   international events 
• Adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) as well as domestic and
   global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures
• Ensure other members of the department follow the QMS, regulations, standards and
   procedures
 
 
What you bring:
• Superior education degree in a medical scientific or business related field (BA, BC or BSc
   level)
• An additional training and a certification in quality management would be a plus
• Minimum 3 years of product management in the medical device or pharmaceutical
   industry
• At least 1 year of market development
• Understanding of medical device industry requirements and standards´
• Proven track record of building strong customer relationships
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficiency with MS Office 
• Excellent English communication skills; both verbal and written
• Excellent language skills in another major European language: German, French, Italian or
   Spanish
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task
