We are a dynamic and constantly growing company. As a result, we are looking for an experienced and highly motivated SAP Senior Business System Analyst, Operations EMEA (m/f/d).
As part of Penumbra’s Operations team, you will support an innovative and global company that develops ground-breaking technology to further its mission of saving patients’ lives. Reporting to the Customer Care & Supply Chain Director EMEA, the main responsibilities of the SAP Senior Business System Analyst are building and implementing solutions to ensure OTP & PTP operations across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). You will also interface with a variety of other departments such as Global Supply Chain & Planning US & Planning India.

What you`ll work on
> Partner with end users and process owners to identify continuous improvement opportunities, and design and
implement solutions for process effectiveness and efficiency
> Evaluate and recommend new technologies to further improve user experiences, enterprise integration, performance and scalability, and product qualities and development efficiencies
> Research OTC & PTP best practices and industry innovations and apply those across the Finance business and technology landscape
> Provide strong hands-on technical expertise, analyze business requirements, identify risks, and collaborate
> Work closely with senior management to define priorities, direction and timelines
> Represent as subject-matter expert when working on cross-functional projects, drawing in IT teams as required
> Work closely with business teams and software vendors to resolve software issues quickly and completely, addressing root causes
> Participate as an integral extension of the global IT team, leveraging the same methodologies and tools. This includes production support and enhancement activities
> Follow agreed-upon project methodology to define scope, develop, test, deploy solutions and transition to run
> Participate on the build team as a configuration developer within SAP SD modules

What You Bring
> Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance or equivalent is required, an advanced degree strongly preferred
> Prior experience working at a medical device company is a plus
> Deep understanding of SD business processes – OTC cycle, RMAs, consignments, Master data
> Strong functional and configuration knowledge in SAP SD module along with pricing functions
> Working knowledge of EDI/IDOC and other 3rd party interfaces
> Background in analytical and reporting solutions such as SAP AO, Tableau or Power BI
> Must show flexibility in working hours to enable meetings with California and India-based IT team members
> Identifying synergies and optimization areas within the OTC and PTP domain and manage the execution
> Strong experience in translating business requirements into technical capabilities and solutions
> Must have experience is Business Process improvement methodologies
> Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as high ethical standards
> Capability to manage multiple priorities, organize complex requests, and resolve issues creatively
> Fluency in English, German and Italian knowledge an advantage
