What You'll Be Doing

  • Play a pivotal role in scaling our strategic financial planning and business analytics processes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive organizational alignment on quantitative and qualitative drivers of revenue, cost, and operating expense
  • Help drive, build, and enhance Penumbra’s forecasting and strategic planning processes
  • Partner with business leaders in Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Production to understand key drivers of revenue, cost, and operating expense, and help leaders make strategic decisions
  • Manage periodic financial reports and analyses; develop KPIs and metrics to track business trends
  • Contribute to business development efforts, performing market research, financial diligence, and modeling
  • Support quarterly earnings events and investor relations activities
  • Collaborate with Business Intelligence and data teams to provide real-time intelligence to the business (e.g., Tableau)
  • Help implement financial and corporate planning systems and tools (e.g., Anaplan)
  • Provide ad hoc support to executives and business leaders across a range of strategic initiatives
  • Lead and manage team projects and cross functional initiatives
  • Assist in mentoring and onboarding new hires and more junior staff 
  • What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or relevant field with 3+ years of directly related experience in a similar position (corporate finance, Investment Banking, Management Consulting, FP&A, etc.), or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Master’s Degree in relevant field is a plus
  • Experience in healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing and/or high growth companies preferred
  • Excellent financial modeling skills and analytical capabilities 
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build strong working relationships
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining sight of the big picture
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deliverables in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, etc.
  • Experience with Anaplan, Tableau, and/or SAP ERP (or similar applications) is a plus
  • Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment with confidential and sensitive information
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and potential
  • Positive self-starter attitude and desire to grow with the team and company
