To strengthen our team in Spain, we are looking for a full-time, permanent position as soon as possible. 
Senior Clinical Specialist (m/f/d) - SPAIN.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for medical professionals during interventions using our vascular peripheral products.
In addition you will provide support to one or more regional sales teams in the areas of procedural coverage, market development, education and training and customer service. 

What You`ll work on:
> Serve as primary resource for clinical support in the areas of procedural case coverage, basic troubleshooting and follow-up visits
> Report and track all product incidents at centers, following Penumbra procedures and seeking input from appropriate personnel to resolve problems
> Respond to customer needs and complaints by developing solutions; working in strong collaboration sales and marketing

Business Development:
> Develop and implement a regional plan aimed at increasing market share and improving quality of service to customers
> Build relationships with hospital personnel to expand contacts in other departments, identify key decision makers and facilitate future sales
> Meet with existing and potential customers to identify their clinical needs, goals and constraints related to patient care, and to demonstrate how company products can help them achieve their goals
> Collaborate with Sales Specialists and Managers to implement a strategic plan of action in their respective sales territory (including distributors network)

Key Account Development:
> Appropriately select and use clinical data and literature to assist with selling solution/s to customer/s in their respective territory
> Prepare regular sales territory market survey on new product launches, education performances, competitive activities, logistics and partner’s needs
> Preparation of regular territory reports and analysis of new business achievements, opportunities and targets (potential Product Champion, Super User’s)

Education & Training:
> Educate existing and potential customers on the merits and proper clinical use of Penumbra products by case reports, giving presentations and demonstrations, using presentation slides, flow models, brochures and other platforms and formats
> Assist in professional education activities sponsored by Penumbra, including PEER meetings, hospital stroke symposia, and other related events
> Assist in training new employees, including Territory Managers and other Clinical Specialists
> Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and hospital staff on technical matters related to interventional products and procedures through conducting and/or coordinating one-on-one ad hoc training sessions and in-service structured education programs in the OR, and other care areas (neuroradiology, neurosurgery, interventional radiology, vascular surgery)

What You bring:
> Bachelor’s degree in communications, neuroscience, biology or a related discipline, plus additional training and certification in radiology, neuro-interventional technology, or related field
> At least three years’ experience in a hospital setting or in a medical device company, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
> Ability to make decisions based on analysis of risk
> Result orientated and Customer oriented
> Advanced written and verbal Communication skills in English and one other European language
> Strong organizational skills
> Clear understanding of private and public health education system and strategic directions for health care
