The Senior Business Systems Analyst, Anaplan will be accountable for the build and implementation of solutions for FP&A, Workforce, Supply Chain Planning models and transformation initiatives, which will integrate and enhance Penumbra’s business planning and forecasting functionality, overall performance, and maintain a high degree of user satisfaction

Responsibilities

  • Work with Demand Planning, Logistics, and other Business Operations teams to gather requirements and build models and dashboards to enhance our forecasting and reporting processes.
  • Work with our Data systems, IT & Security, and the FP&A Anaplan team to integrate systems, improving end-to-end automation, timeliness, accuracy and structure of forecasting and data.
  • Support any necessary Anaplan model updates to accommodate new data and systems, including validating inbound and outbound data for accuracy and making updates as needed.
  • Partner with FP&A and cross-functional teams to develop roadmap, identify needs, understand existing models (Excel/ Anaplan), and assist in the process of translating them into efficiently built and enhanced Anaplan solutions.
  • Assist in data validation, testing, and overall deployment of new models to ensure an accurate and successful project ‘go-live’ within Anaplan.
  • Become the ‘thought leader’ of existing models and processes, and assist in future enhancements to drive planning efficiency and company growth
  • Continuously identify gaps and opportunities for projects that will streamline workflows and overall processes
  • Collaborate with our internal teams to identify areas of opportunity for data automation and efficiency
  • Perform business and systems analysis work, root cause analysis and provide forward thinking, long term technical solutions; conduct requirements gathering/analysis
  • Provide strong hands-on technical expertise; analyze business requirements; identify risks; and collaborate.*
  • Participate in the development of IT related policies, standards, and procedures. *
  • Comply with quality system regulations, standards and procedures.*

    Position Qualifications

  • Minimum education and experience: Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Additional qualifications:
  • A strong working knowledge of forecasting, demand planning, business intelligence, reporting and analysis processes and tools
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL or other querying languages
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA
  • Anaplan Solution Architect certification
  • Confidence to define new ways to achieve better results or fix existing processes
  • Flexibility working across regions, cultures and time zones.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and to learn and adapt to new business processes, technologies, and environments.
  • Curious self-starter who demonstrates high energy/creativity, a customer-focused approach and interest in developing a deep understanding of the business.
  • Working Conditions

  • General office environment. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms, and to use a computer, sitting for extended periods.
