WHAT YOU'LL DO

Own the When

  • Responsible for the “when”, and working with Technology leads on the “how” and the “who.”
  • Manage Scrum ceremonies and artifacts
  • Clearly and effectively communicate projects, deadlines, and progress across the technology and product team 
  • Manage multiple technical projects at a time

Partner Across Teams

  • Partner with technology leadership to define milestones for initiatives
  • Collaborate with developers by leading technical design discussions by breaking down projects into tasks while ensuring all team members are actively working toward established milestones
  • Work with the Product Team to analyze, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects and sprints

Create Efficiencies

  • Clearly and effectively communicate project scope, dependencies, deadlines, and progress across the product and technical teams
  • Establish, automate, and implement training processes and strategies for all technical personnel to drive efficiency
  • Motivate and guide the technical team by identifying and removing roadblocks
  • Have a critical eye when analyzing project and process data to determine effectiveness and create improvements

WHAT YOU BRING

Need to have

  • Computer Science Degree
  • Interest in technical design
  • Familiar with a micro services architecture
  • Task management tools (e.g. Notion, JIRA, etc)
  • Comfortable working with developers of different backgrounds (backend, frontend, QA, sysadmin) 
  • Ability to define, collect, and maintain team and project metrics (KPIs)

Nice to have

  • Scrum Master and/or PMP certifications
  • SQL and Python
  • Experience managing engineering projects through all phases of the SDLC 
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
