Rigetti Computing is building the world’s most powerful computers to solve humanity’s most pressing problems. We believe this technology will fundamentally change the world for the better and will affect nearly every industry over the coming decades.

As an Electrical Engineer at Rigetti Computing, you will develop cutting-edge solutions to enable the scaling of quantum computers to a larger number of qubits with higher performance, focusing on developing Passive RF components handling microwave/RF signals at cryogenic temperatures. You will be working closely with a team of electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and physicists, as well as outside component suppliers, to define system and component requirements that meet these scaling & performance challenges. You will own and integrate components into the R&D and production release workflows in support of new, cutting-edge quantum computer systems.

The ideal candidate brings experience working with suppliers to develop Passive RF electronic components, preferably using innovative materials and designs. You enjoy working in a multi-disciplinary environment, and you excel at translating functional requirements into test designs. You can identify requirements and constraints and manage effective test programs that navigate these inputs. You are a strong communicator who keeps stakeholders informed and involved.

As quantum computing leaders, we value diversity and are committed to building a culture of inclusion to attract and engage innovative thinkers. Our technology, meant to serve all of humanity, cannot succeed if those who built it do not mirror the diversity of the communities we serve. Applications from women, minorities, and other under represented groups are strongly encouraged.
