ELECTRICAL ENGINEER, CRYO/RF Quantum Hardware
Location: Berkeley, CA
As an Electrical Engineer at Rigetti Computing, you will lead development of cutting-edge solutions and the architecture to realize a quantum computer, focusing on developing electronics handling microwave/RF signals in a cryogenic / low-noise environment. This role requires developing concepts, models, and designs of electronic systems, assemblies, and components. You will be working closely with a team of electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and physicists, as well as outside component suppliers, to define system requirements. You will own and integrate your tests into the R&D and production release workflows in support of new, cutting-edge quantum computer systems.
The ideal candidate brings experience developing RF / Microwave components and systems for quantum electronics. You enjoy working in a multi-disciplinary environment, and you excel at translating functional requirements into test designs. You are able to identify requirements and constraints and manage effective test programs that navigate these inputs. You are a strong communicator who keeps stakeholders informed and involved.
