As a Quantum Test Engineer, you will contribute to the characterization of our quantum devices. As we work towards scaling, improving the performance, and deploying more of our devices, you will be responsible for measuring and analyzing R&D devices, characterizing newly fabricated chips, and assessing the deployability of these chips for production.
This is an interdisciplinary role with an emphasis on learning more about quantum information and superconducting qubit-based hardware, and plenty of opportunity for growth. The role would include mentorship and technical guidance from members of our broader full-stack quantum engineering teams to help you iterate and improve upon our measurement software and characterization procedures. Among others, you would have the opportunity to collaborate with senior quantum engineers on device performance analysis, integrated circuit designers on design improvements, and experienced software developers on measurement software.
We are looking for a driven individual who is excited to apply fundamental physics and data analysis expertise in conjunction with proven software or hands-on engineering experience to the challenge of testing state-of-the-art quantum processors.
