Rigetti Computing builds cloud-deployed quantum computers to solve the world’s most important and pressing problems. We are a highly diverse and interdisciplinary team of scientists and engineers working at the cutting edge of technology in a mission-driven entrepreneurial environment. We believe that bringing together teams from various cultures, educational backgrounds, and technical disciplines helps them to see things from more points of view and to make great products that change the world for the better.

As Senior Process Engineer and Integration Engineer, you will be in charge of developing and sustaining activities in optical lithography and metrology tools and processes that will be used for building quantum integrated circuits. You will spend your time immersed in the hands-on fabrication of these devices. In addition to your role in lithography and metrology modules that will serve as your home base, you will also be responsible for owning full or segments of process integration and developing advanced process flows that deliver signal routing on quantum circuits to achieve function and performance. In this integration role, you will interact with other fab process engineers and with process team leadership. You will be responsible for presenting proposals to the Change Control Board (CCB) on development and improvement work. You will also work closely with integration engineers and Johsephson-junction integrators in the wider fab engineering team and contribute to brainstorming across other aspects of the QuIC process and flows. You will work in a fast-paced environment and interact with a wide range of engineers and scientists in process, integration, design, failure analysis, and quantum engineering, and also interact with technicians in the fab. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree, coursework, and hands-on fab work in at least one of the 2 foundational areas, lithography or metrology.

As quantum computing leaders, we value diversity and are committed to building a culture of inclusion to attract and engage innovative thinkers. Our technology, meant to serve all of humanity, cannot succeed if those who built it do not mirror the diversity of the communities we serve. Applications from women, minorities and other underrepresented groups are strongly encouraged.
