Rigetti Computing is building the world’s most powerful computers to solve humanity’s most pressing problems. We believe this technology will fundamentally change the world for the better and will affect nearly every industry over the coming decades. Now a public company, Rigetti is looking to expand our talent team through the addition of a Technical Recruiting Associate!

The Technical Recruiting Associate will work with our Talent team to hire the world class group of professionals that make our goals achievable. Our intent in this role is to create a path for a hungry and ambitious recruiting coordinator who wants to grow into a career in full-cycle recruiting long term. We envision the ideal candidate spending 50% of their time orchestrating and 50% of their time sourcing new talent for both unique and evergreen technical pipelines. You’ll orchestrate each step of a candidate’s interview cycle from start to finish, ensuring a smooth, professional, and high quality interview experience for all candidates. As the face of Rigetti in our candidates’ journey, your responsibilities will lay the foundation for Rigetti’s continued growth and overall success.  You’ll also shadow our technical recruiters and simultaneously work with hiring managers across a myriad of teams (Quantum Engineering, Software Engineering, Fabrications/Hardware Engineering and more) to develop candidate pipelines for a variety of openings. Wherever they go, you go as well!

As quantum computing leaders, we value diversity and are committed to building a culture of inclusion to attract and engage innovative thinkers. Our technology, meant to serve all of humanity, cannot succeed if those who built it do not mirror the diversity of the communities we serve. Applications from women, minorities, and other underrepresented groups are strongly encouraged.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Initiating and managing the end-to-end, full-cycle communication for our coordination process; from initial outreach when a candidate applies to arranging external interviews and internal pre-brief/debrief sessions.
  • Partnering with recruiters on hiring and sourcing for technical roles across the organization. Engaging quality, passive talent to build diverse, robust pipelines from various means (including our hiring platform, job boards, meetups and more).
  • Directly influencing Rigetti’s talent brand through candidate experience as the first point of contact for all candidates and be a resource throughout the recruitment process to ensure a white glove candidate experience.
  • Conducting preliminary conversations with potential candidates about Rigetti and being a key ambassador for Rigetti’s mission to make quantum computing as universally available and accessible as possible.
  • Arranging a high volume of interviews for candidates using our ATS (Lever) across a wide variety of international interviewer, recruiter and hiring manager timezones.
  • Collaborating with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure candidates are shepherded through the recruitment process seamlessly and that they feel their time was cherished in our process, regardless of outcome.
  • Managing Rigetti’s constantly growing and changing interview calendar effectively to enable us to achieve our hiring goals.
  • Managing workflows within our applicant tracking system and update it with all notes and relevant information.
  • Maintaining accurate reporting within our ATS (Lever).
  • What You Bring to the Table:

  • Extensive organizational skills coupled with a high attention to detail and experience with heavy calendaring for multiple individuals and departments (strong Google email/calendar/doc skills)
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills with the ability to work across a variety of stakeholders (including executives) and spectrum of personalities
  • Strong customer service mentality and ability to maintain composure and a positive attitude in high-pressure situations
  • Aptitude to think on your feet, change or adapt to ambiguous situations and juggle multiple priorities at once
  • An energy to proactively engage and build relationships with diverse professional networks and groups
  • You are passionate about the technology field and have a voracious appetite to constantly keep up to date
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
