Development Managers are delivery leaders at Riot. We lead teams to deliver player value through effective Agile work systems and practices. While driving internal alignment and accountability for teams and development organizations, we are consistently focusing on continuous improvement.

As the Delivery Lead for Localization Technology team, you will report into the Sr. Manager of Program Management. You will drive delivery of features and services for Localization and ensure that processes, technology, and people interact in a well-orchestrated, collaborative way to deliver value for Riot and players, partnering with producers and engineers.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage work systems, delivery roadmaps and team performance metrics
  • Develop team rituals to aid in delivery of the products, organize regular and ad hoc meetings for the team you support
  • Coordinate the delivery of dependencies from teams collaborating on the project across their team and Riot
  • Identify and eliminate any impediments that obstruct or distract the team from delivering value
  • Create transparency and predictability through roadmaps and active risk management

Required Qualifications: 

  • 1+ years of agile delivery or project management
  • Knowledgeable in Jira use, configuration, and limitations.
  • Familiarity with project-running tools and frameworks including Scrum, Kanban and Lean
  • Experience with managing project/task prioritization, planning and schedule development.
  • Experience designing and improving work systems

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and passion for Localization/Globalization fields
  • Experience working with distributed teams and facilitating virtual meetings that are inclusive and engaging
